48 3/4" BROADSWORD & SCABBARD Medieval Knight Viking DOUBLE EDGE TWO HANDED

Description

Overall length: approximately 48 3/4". Blade length: 38 1/8". Blade is double edged with a central fuller. Brass crossguard & pommel. Leather covered
grip. There are no maker marks on the sword. Crossguard is 8" across & marked "INDIA". Sword w
eight is about 3.14 lbs. Brown leather scabbard is a bit long for the sword but otherwise fits well and appears to be the original scabbard.
Sword shows very light overall wear with very occasional small spots of light oxidation mostly near the tip of the blade, light scuffs & scrapes. Brass guard & pommel have a nice mellow patina. Grip shows light wear. Scabbard is in good condition but is slightly bent on the tip because it appears to be about 1 1/2" to 2" too long. Overall length with sword in the scabbard is 51 1/4".
This would be a fabulous
reenactor
sword or a cool accessory at a Medieval Fair type event.
