Old Philippine Sword,Vintage Filipino Sword,Old Escrima Sword ,Old Ilocano Bolo

This is an example of what I believe to be an early Philippine Ilocano Sword(WW2 or earlier).The sharp blade measures approx. 14.75" long  & 1& 5/8"  wide and almost 1/4" thick at the base of the spine;it looks like it has been retipped in the past,however it is very sharp and the clip point looks like it would be very effective. It is firmly secured to a nice handle;the workmanship on this sword is excellent..It comes with a leather scabbard that is broken at the tip and it has shrunk so that the sword doesn't fit.
