Description
STANDING JUST UNDER TWENTY INCHES TALL INCLUDING THE ONE INCH MARBLE BASE, ALSO HAS THE LONG SWORD. NO IDEA WHO MADE IT OR WHEN. THE PLAQUE ON THE BASE HAS SOME DISTORTION BUT I BELIEVE IT READS ; EARLY 16TH CENTURY SUIT OF ARMOUR ALSO CALLED MAXIMILLIAN ARMOUR WORN DURING KING HENRY THE VIII . NO HAND COVERINGS , GLOVES OR GAUNTLETS I BELIEVE IS THE CORRECT TERM. THE VISOR OPENS AND CLOSES , ELBOWS ALSO BEND. THE MARBLE BASE ADDS ENOUGH WEIGHT ALONG WITH THE SIZE TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE COST OF SHIPPING . SELLING AS IS, CHECK MY OTHER AUCTIONS IF YOU LIKE VINTAGE TOYS, CARS, MODELS ETC.
